Why am I being asked for a validation code?

We use validation codes to protect you and your account.  Validation codes are used in conjunction with your password to protect you from someone else logging into your account.  Our system is designed to ask you for a validation code every 30 days or each time you are logging in from a new computer.  

If you are being asked to validate your session every time you log in you may need to adjust your settings to allow cookies in your browser.  

Below are the steps to follow if you are using Google Chrome.

Open a Google Chrome session like you are going to start using the internet.

Click on the three dot icon in the upper right corner of your screen. This will open your browser menu.



From the menu which appears select Settings.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Advanced to see more.



Select Content Settings to find your Cookies options.




Click ADD next to Allow.  You will need to type in "secure.affinipay.com" into the text field and then click ADD.






This will allow your browser to view AffiniPay as a secure website, and you not be asked to re-validate every time you log into the system.

You will be prompted to re-validate every 30 days if you are using the same computer.  This is an important security feature which is meant to protect you from anyone gaining access to your account with just your password.  This is called dual authentication and is one of the best ways to ensure your identity to protect your account.  AffiniPay is committed to keeping our merchants and also your clients secure.
