You can add your website developer as an additional user on your AffiniPay account in order to access any API or integration credentials. You will have the ability to limit his or her access to only the Developers area in order to keep your account secure. We do not recommend emailing these credentials as they are privileged pieces of information.
1) When fully logged in to your AffiniPay account, click on your name in the top right corner of the screen then select "Settings."
2) The right side of the screen will display the Authorized Users on the account. At the bottom of the list of users, click on the small "Add User" button.
3) Here you will need to add the name and email for your website developer and select the "Abilities" that you would like this user to have. Please note: your website developer should only need the "Developer" ability checked. If you have any test accounts set up within your AffiniPay account, it might be beneficial to allow your developer access to that for testing purposes. Otherwise, you can leave all accounts unchecked in the "Account Access" area. (If you would like to add a test account, please contact Support at 800.459.5798 or firstname.lastname@example.org)
4) Once you click "Save Changes", your website developer will receive a welcome email from AffiniPay. After establishing a password, he or she will be able to access the developer area by clicking on his or her name, then selecting "Developers" from the drop down box.
